Arise and Get Thee Into the Mountain

Moses was given instructions on how to build the tabernacle. Nephi was given instructions on how to build a boat that would carry his family across an ocean to the promise land. Brigham Young was given instructions on how to build the Salt Lake Temple.

If we, too, are trying to build our homes “not after the manner of men,” we need to do likewise and seek God’s instructions.

It is God who can gives us the vision, who helps us make the tools and can show us step-by-step the meaning of all things he has required us to do.

Where do we go that we might receive that instruction? These stories make it so obvious to me now.

“Arise, and get thee into the mountain. And it came to pass that I arose and went up into the mountain.” – Nephi.
